Support & Opportunities

Lincoln District have an aim to give every young person who wants to be a Beaver, Cub, Scout, Explorer Scout and Network Scout the chance to do so, whatever their circumstances may be.

For that reason a special fund was created to support the growth of Scouting in Lincoln District.

For those families experiencing financial hardship we would hope that they approach their Group first. We recognise however, some groups already have huge strains on their resources which is where this fund comes in. We aim to ensure that families experiencing difficulties will have an equal opportunity of obtaining support regardless of where they live in the District.

The funding is aimed at individuals or families and can be used for things such as activity costs, uniform costs and even subscription costs. It isn't aimed at equipment costs or at whole sections or groups.
